Surviving -34°C. in a snow cave / Quinzee #5

This time I wanted to challenge myself in extreme cold temperatures. I drove all the way up North to Finnmark. I set up my camp a hour hike away from the car. At this place I also build my snow shelter. The so called Quinzee has been my home for the following days. It protects me from the ice cold temperatures, the lowest I experienced has been -34°Celsius. After some time it became quite difficult to keep up with the cold. I failed several times to make warm dinner, since both of my cookers did not worked anymore by this cold. My self-build sled broke and I did not had the patience to wait for fish to bite since my toes became almost ice. It was an extreme experience, happy to have done it, but maybe not again in the future! Haha
